Akur8 has launched Akur8 Agents to integrate no-code automation and expert guidance into actuarial pricing workflows. Built on the company's existing cloud platform, the new tools are designed to manage repeatable tasks such as building pricing structures, drafting reports from reusable templates, developing formulas, and bringing rating logic from spreadsheets into the platform. Underlying actuarial calculations and mathematical modeling continue to be performed by Akur8's established engines rather than the new agents.
Human Control and Data Security
The platform requires actuaries to retain complete control over analyses, review outputs, apply professional judgment, and approve all final decisions. According to the company, customer data is not used to train AI models, and the offering complies with the EU AI Act. Following this initial pricing release, Akur8 plans to expand its expert agents into reserving and life workflows.
