The Financial Conduct Authority has issued a public warning against an entity operating under the name Mobile Savings Plan, stating that the firm is not authorised to provide or promote financial services in the UK. The regulator noted addresses associated with the firm in Canary Wharf, London, and Mountain View, California, alongside the website www.mobileplanasset.com and a contact email. The regulator advised that consumers dealing with unauthorised entities lack access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
