FCA warns public over LW Management Clone firm

Clone Firm Warning

The Financial Conduct Authority has issued a warning against an unauthorised entity operating as LW Management, which has been contacting individuals while falsely pretending to be a genuine regulated business. The fraudsters have used an address at 27 Old Broad Street, London, alongside telephone contact +447441421816 and various email addresses linked to the domains lw-manage.info and lw-management.info.

Consumer Protections

The regulator confirmed that the fraudulent entity is a clone of the genuine authorised firm Links Wealth Management Limited, which holds Firm Reference Number 1011435 and is based in Oxted, Surrey. Consumers who deal with the unauthorised clone firm will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or protection under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if the entity fails.
