The new proposition includes core cover for property damage, business interruption, employers’ liability, and public and products liability. It is tailored for independent restaurants, chains, various types of hotels, and conference centres with accommodation. Specific features address hospitality pressures, including cover for key chefs, protection for TRONC tip-sharing schemes after a loss, seasonal stock increases during peak trading, and food spoilage resulting from equipment failure. Building energy inspections are also available through Allianz Engineering Inspection Services.
Licensing and compliance
The policy extends to loss of licence cover, including wedding and civil ceremony licences. Allianz has partnered with compliance firm Serve Legal to offer customers a 20% discount on independent audits, covering age verification testing, venue safety audits for Martyn’s Law preparedness, allergen audits, and mystery shopping. The policy also includes cover for public relations costs. Allianz fast-tracks smaller property claims and offers early kick-start payments on larger claims to assist cash flow.
