AM Best assigned Ascot Insurance Guernsey Limited a Financial Strength Rating of A and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “a+”, with a stable outlook. The Guernsey entity operates as a wholly reinsured subsidiary of Ascot Bermuda Limited.

Affirmations and parent support

At the same time, AM Best affirmed the ratings of Ascot Bermuda Limited and members of the Ascot Insurance U.S. Group, alongside long-term issue credit ratings on Ascot’s senior unsecured notes. The ratings reflect Ascot's consolidated balance sheet strength and benefit from parental support from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
