Hampden Risk Partners has named Danny Milnes as Head of Exposure Management to develop its underwriting and portfolio management capabilities. Milnes will oversee the exposure management function, using data and analytical insights to inform underwriting decisions and support portfolio optimisation as the business pursues its growth plans.

Background and Experience

Milnes brings 25 years of experience across the re/insurance sector, having worked with model vendors, brokers and carriers active in the Lloyd's market. Before joining Hampden Risk Partners, he spent more than seven years at Gallagher Re as specialty catastrophe analytics lead. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Willis Re, ArgoGlobal and Guy Carpenter. Leah Rose, Chief Executive Officer of Hampden Risk Partners, said Milnes will bring expertise to the exposure management function and contribute to consistent, sustainable returns for investors.
