Exhibition details and access

Lloyd's is opening its London building to staff across the market for a week-long exhibition marking 40 years since its headquarters opened. Titled 'Looking Inside Out: Explore the Architecture of Risk', the event runs from November 18 to 25. It is open to all employees of managing agencies and Lloyd’s broking houses, including non-underwriting staff who may not normally have access to the Underwriting Room.

Design and industry role

The exhibition has been curated with RSHP, the architectural practice formerly known as Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners, which designed the building. Opened in 1986 by Richard Rogers, the building features services on the exterior to leave a large open atrium for the Underwriting Room, and received Grade I listed status in 2011. Lloyd’s stated that the event also aims to inspire the next generation of talent joining the London market.
