Executive Appointment and Strategy
David Martin will join international insurance intermediary PIB Group as Group Chief Executive Officer in early 2027, moving from his current role as Managing Director, UK Commercial and Chief Distribution Officer at Aviva. Martin brings over three decades of sector experience, having previously held senior positions at Zurich and joined Aviva in 2023. Founder Brendan McManus will remain Chairman, while PIB's existing interim leadership office continues to manage operations until Martin takes up the post. The appointment aligns with PIB's strategic shift toward organic growth across its established UK, Irish, and European operations, alongside a more selective approach to future acquisitions.
